Jewish Cemetery, Cochin, Kerela
Jewish Cemetery is located in old Jew Town of the Fort Kochi area of Cochin. It is at a walkable distance from the Jewish Synagogue. The cemetery is located and we has to see it from outside. You can see tombs of Jewish people who have been buried here. The tombs have info on them written in Hebrew.
The Jews have a long history in India with different kind of Jews lived here or still living here. Many of them has migrated to Israel after it was created. But the cemetery here will remain a sign of Jewish association with Cochin for a long time to come.
