Flower Show or Festivals in India this Season

The Mughal Gardens, located in Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi will remain open from February 15 to March 16 on all days except Mondays. The garden boasts of some rare and unpronounceable varieties of roses. it also showcases colorful tulips and dahlias. This year there are two new attractions: A souvenir shop and a biodiversity park.

Timings: 10 am to 5 pm

The Tulip Festival, Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir) is celebrated in the first two weeks of April every year at Asia’s largest tulip garden also known as Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden. Some sources claim that there are more than 2 million tulips here. Remember that scene from the Bollywood movie ‘Silsila’? No, it wasn’t shot here. But this place could provide you the same visual experience. It is located in the foot hills of Zabarwan range overlooking Dal lake. Entry cost per adult is Rs 50.

International Flower Festival, Gangtok (Sikkim), should not be missed if you are planning to head out to the North-East for summers. It is held in May every year and along with an amazing variety of orchids and other flowers, this festival also gives you a chance to experience the food of Sikkim, river rafting and even a Yak Safari.
