Visit to Lago Palms Resort, Electronic City, Bangalore

Lago Palms resort is located around 24 KMs from Bangalore city in the outer edges of Electronic City at Bettadasanapura, jigani hobli. It is spread across 5 acres and surrounded by lake Biginapura on one side. Uber / Ola cab service is available to the resort. From outside it is difficult to make out if that is the gate of a resort. I had to ask to confirm if that was indeed Lago Palms Resort.

Once you are in, there is a straight path with rooms on the left hand side and little further down the path on right hand side take a turn to go to the office or reception.

From here you can see the long field which has a badminton court. It’s a nice long green field which can be used to play some football, volleyball, running etc. They also have zipline on this field but it is closed now due to covid 19 pandemic.

The rooms are self contained with double bed and attached bathroom.

From the reception we were taken for a property visit. After a round of the property started to see things at leisure. Though the zipline is closed, we were able to climb the zipline tower and it gives a good bird’s eye view of the area.

Then we played little bit football. Watch it in the video when it is released. Lago Palms resort has a dining area where you have both buffet and ala carte. Opposite to the dining area is the play area which has carrom board, billiards. It also works as conference room when required. In lunch both veg and non-veg was available. Food to me looked simple and decent. The highlight of lunch was potato kebab. It was good. There is another dining area which oversees the swimming pool on one side and the open field and lake on the other side.

After lunch we walked to the open field by walking besides the swimming pool. I was told they host people for tent stay here. It would be awesome to do a tent stay right besides the shoreline of a lake. They would charge around Rs 2000 change per person. The green field has two sitting arrangements with shades. One of the sitting arrangement also has carrom board if one would like enjoy some games with friend besides beautiful nature of lake view.

Finally we made our move to the swimming pool. Besides the swimming pool there is a locker where you can keep your valuable if you are coming on a day trip. On the other side is the space for rain dance. Here a DJ will play chartbusters and you can dance you blues out in sprinkling water.

The swimming pool is pretty big and has same depth all over. In resorts typically one of the most looked for and enjoyable place is the swimming pool. I tried some underwater recording.
