Awesome Taste of Paperboat Drinks

I saw paperboat drinks for the first time at Bigbaazar sometime back. The unusual name and the very refreshing packaging made me pick up two flavours: Aamras and Jaljeera. After coming back home that afternoon, I tried Aamras. And the taste was like Amritras!! (nectar). Fresh, pure and when drunk chilled is simply awesome! I said to myself, I must must review all the flavours of Paperboat. Soon I got an opportunity to review them, thanks to Paperboat Drinks.
As of now they have 7 flavours in market:
- Aamras
- Jaljeera
- Kokum
- Jamun
- Aam Panna
- Imli
- Golgappa
I took a look at their website to see what was their inspiration and what messaging they were trying to do with their product. I found their concept very refreshing. They were not just trying to sell product and give good experience but trying to connect with experience earlier in a person’s life. The flavours has been wisely chosen. Like Aampanna reminded me the unripe tangy mangoes I had from our mango tree back in my native.
Now lets take a look on the flavours individually :-
Aamras:

As aam (mango) is called the king of fruits, its nectar is also kingsome! Made of 45% thick mango pulp, it gives a pure mango taste. |
Imli Ka Amlana
![]() |
It is made from tamarind. Features an awesome taste of raw tangy tamarind on your taste buds along with spice added – simply awesome. |
Kokum
![]() |
It is made from a fruit called Kokum (part of the mangosteen family) Kokum mainly grows in India and a large variety is found in the western ghats. Though it does not have the Paperboat spicy taste but it is still good. Average on taste buds but supposed to be good for health. |
Jamun Kala Khatta
![]() |
It is made from the fruit Jamun (Cumini) Jamun is native to the Indian subcontinent, Indonesia and Philippines. Tastes little tangy like Jamun and added spice makes very good for change of taste . |
Aam panna

Aam Panna is a historically known Indian drink popular for its heat resistance properties. It is made from green mango and lemon. Unripe mango gives little bit of tangy taste, lemon brings citric taste to it and spice embedded makes it an awesome drink. |
Golgappa ka pani

Who has not heard the name of Golgappa or its variations in the Indian subcontinent? Now it is available in nicely packaged form for consumption anywhere. It is like the syrup of your roadside Golgappa, very tasty and highly recommended. Made from lemon, tamarind and with customary Paperboat spicy flavour added, make it an awesome drink. |
Jaljeera

Jaljeera is a historical and popular Indian drink. Made from Jeera (Cumin) power, lemon, black pepper power, ginger power, black salt, common iodized salt and citric acid. A lightweight drink, good appetizer and great at helping digestion. Very good during summer. |
My favourites are Aamras, Aampanna, Imli ka Aamlana, Golgappa Ka Pani, Jaljeera and Jamun. I have already become a regular drinker of Paperboat.
